BioScout Services Inc., a British Columbia corporation doing business as Accel Bio (“Accel Bio,” “we,” “us”), operates this website. This notice explains how we handle personal information when you visit accel-bio.com, contact us, or use the booking links on our marketing pages. It does not cover information processed for a client campaign under a separate agreement. Our Relay product has its own Relay Privacy Policy.
Information we receive
- Information you give us: your name, business contact details, company, and anything you choose to include in an email or inquiry.
- Booking information: if you follow a booking link, Calendly collects the details you provide to arrange a meeting and shares booking details with us.
- Website and device information: our hosting and site services may record information such as IP address, browser, device, pages requested, and access times. If you accept advertising cookies, the website loads a Google Ads tag, which may use cookies or similar technologies and process information about your visit.
Please do not send patient records or other sensitive personal information through a general website inquiry or booking.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to inquiries, arrange and follow up on meetings, understand and improve the website, measure marketing activity, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Where UK data-protection law applies, our usual grounds are your request for steps before a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website and responding to business inquiries, and legal obligations where relevant. We ask for your consent before loading the Google Ads tag.
Who receives it
Our website host and technical providers process information needed to deliver and secure the site. Calendly handles meeting scheduling when you use its booking page; Google may process information collected through the Google Ads tag. Authorized Accel Bio personnel and professional advisers may access information where needed. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and security. These providers have their own privacy information, including Calendly’s privacy notice and Google’s privacy policy.
Cookies and advertising technology
The Google Ads tag stays off until you accept advertising cookies. If you accept, Google may store or read information on your device and receive information about your visit to help us measure ads and support relevant advertising. You can reject these cookies or change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings button. We store your choice in your browser for up to 180 days, then ask again. Withdrawing consent stops future tag loading after the page reloads; it does not undo information already collected. You can also manage Google ad preferences through Google’s Ad Center.
Storage, transfers, and retention
Our company is based in British Columbia, Canada. Website, inquiry, and booking information may be processed in other countries by our service providers. We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, taking account of our relationship with you, security needs, and legal requirements. You can ask about the retention period for a particular inquiry or request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to or correction or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or request a copy of information you provided.
